This is the highest-ranking Ethiopian Orthodox Cathedral in the city. It was built in 1942 by Emperor Haile Selassie to commemorate the Ethiopian victory over the Italian occupation.

Abrehot, meaning "enlightenment" is the newest library in Ethiopia and has a capacity to shelf up to 1.4 million books. This state-of-the-art library also holds bookstores, cafeterias, meeting halls, amphitheater area, a playground, and much more.

- Museum of Art and Science

This newly inaugurated state-of-the-art museum shows Ethiopia's dedication to the future of technology. Stretched across seven hectares of land, the museum has two massive buildings that use green energy, natural light, and ventilation. The museum has permanent and temporary exhibition areas, cafes, shops, and more.

- Unity Park

Is located on the premises of the grand national palace. Emperor Menelik II built the grand palace back in 1800. Unity Park features Historical buildings, artifacts, a zoo, a green area, a playground, cafes, and shops.

A piece of paradise located in front of Unity Park is another addition to the city. The park incorporates beautifully designed and well-maintained landscape, man-made lake, walking trails, dancing fountains, a playground, and coffee shop.
