Danakil Depression

The Danakil Depression is found approximately 200 by 50 km (124 by 31 mi) in the northern part of the Afar Triangle or Afar Depression in Ethiopia.
From these top destinations list, Danakil Depression is one of the most fascinating places on earth. Set at the crossroads of three structural plates, the Danakil is one of the world's lowest and hottest places on earth. It is about 125 m (410 ft) below sea bordered by the Ethiopia Plateau, the Danakil alps and the Red sea.
It displays a few exceptional miracles: magma that is blue, radiant yellow bubbling hot springs, and pools of gurgling mud. These supernatural peculiarities are indications of a structural cycle called mainland fracturing. The Earth is separating and sinking, and it is believed that the Danakil Depression will one day change into a water body.
Gonder Castles

Built in 1636 by king Fasiledes
& is found in the city of Gonder.
Gondar has been called the "Camelot of Africa"
The Gonder Castles are among the top destinations in Ethiopia.
The Castles were built between the thirteenth and seventeenth centuries by King Fasiledes of Ethiopia. King Fasil (Fasiledes) settled in Gonder and established Gonder as a permanent capital of Ethiopia in 1636.
The royal court called Fasil Ghebbi, consists of six major building that are surrounded by 900 metres wide wall. The Fasil Ghebbi (the Royal Enclosure) is one of the top destinations for tourist in the city of Gonder.
Inside the compound one can find the Fasilides' castle, Iyasu's palace, Dawit's Hall, a banqueting hall, stables, Empress Mentewab's castle, a chancellery, library and three churches. Near the city lie Fasilides' Bath, where the annual ceremony of Timkat (Epiphany) takes place. Timkat is registered in UNESCO as an intangible heritage.
